Marching Band fees total $900 for the 2011 season. The fees are divided into two categories
and are due at different times during the year to allow for fundraising efforts to accumulate and
help defray costs.
Band Camp Fee is $425 and is due in full by July 25, 2011 at the mandatory Parent Meeting along with the necessary release forms. Band camp is required for all students in
the Marching Band. This fee helps cover the following items:
Facility usage at Austin Peay State University
Lodging
Food
Instructional Staff
Senior Band Camp Dinner
Transportation
and Lodging - to the Jacksonville, AL band contest and Fort Walton
Beach, FL competition as well as transportation to away football games.
Contest Entry Fees
Band Uniforms - Purchase of Show Uniforms , cleaning, and maintenance.
School Instruments
All Band Banquet Awards - Blankets, letters, pins, patches, etc.
Families that have more than one child participating in the band program will receive the following "Band Camp Fee" adjustment: Two Children $722.50 Total.
Families that have more than one child participating in the band program will receive the following "Marching Band Fee" adjustment: Two Children $807.50 Total.
The "Winter Drum Line Fees" for 2011 - 2012 are to be determined. These fees are due by TBD and will be used to pay for the following:
Transportation and lodging (when required) to competitions and contests
Winter Drum Line shirts for all Band members
Props, uniforms and equipment
School instruments
