Marching Band

Marching Band fees total $900 for the 2011 season. The fees are divided into two categories
and are due at different times during the year to allow for fundraising efforts to accumulate and
help defray costs.



Band Camp Fee is $425 and is due in full by July 25, 2011 at the mandatory Parent Meeting along with the necessary release forms. Band camp is required for all students in
the Marching Band. This fee helps cover the following items:

  
    Marching Band Fee is $475 and is due by February 2012. 
This fee pays for the following:

    The student is offered fundraising opportunities throughout the year to help lower the total fees
    due.  You can fundraise all or part of the fees. If you only fundraise enough for a partial payment
    then you need to pay the difference by the respective due date (please see the Fundraising link
    for IMPORTANT details)  The school will bill you for any outstanding balances from     
    Marching Band fees after February 2012.



Additional Costs

  • Students are responsible for the cost of their band shoes (approximately $40 new) which will be ordered for them during band camp. This is paid at the mandatory parent meeting before band camp.
  • Pre-game meals are provided on football game nights as students do not have time to leave campus between practice and the game. The cost is $40 ($5/game). This is paid at the mandatory meeting before band camp.
  • Students usually need spending money for dates (some meals, drinks, t-shirts, patches, memoribilia, etc)


Multi-Child Discounts

Families that have more than one child participating in the band program will receive the following "Band Camp Fee" adjustment: Two Children $722.50 Total.

Families that have more than one child participating in the band program will receive the following "Marching Band Fee" adjustment: Two Children $807.50 Total.

Winter Drum Line

The "Winter Drum Line Fees" for 2011 - 2012 are to be determined. These fees are due by TBD and will be used to pay for the following:

  • Transportation and lodging (when required) to competitions and contests

  •           Contest Entry Fees
  • Winter Drum Line shirts for all Band members

  • Props, uniforms and equipment

  • School instruments

    Fundraising opportunites are the same as those for the Marching Band
